The peak season to visit Valencia is the summer season from June to October. It is hot, humid and jam packed at 86-92 deg F, and the city is thrilled with the Formula One Grand Prix and the festival of La Tomatina. It would be best to book your tickets early to avoid last minute rush and inflated prices. You can opt for the winter season in November to March if you have some budget constraints. The city would be cold and damp at 66-73 deg F then but it would still give way to one of the most important Spanish festivals- Las Fellas. You can also get lower air fares and hotel rates.

Valencia is a beautiful city and the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia in Spain. This stunning portside city is exclusively famous for its Falles festival, the traditional delicacy Paella and its proportionate mix of old and new architectural styles. Also of note is its superb natural scenery consisting of beaches, mountains and deep gorges. If you can travel for about one and half hour from here to a nearby city called Montanejos, you would get to see the hot springs that maintain a constant 25 deg throughout the year.
Falles festival
Falles festival is celebrated with a show of bonfires, fireworks and music from 15th to 19th March in honour of St Joseph. This festival owes its origin to the Middle Ages when carpenters used to clear their junk and light candles in the honour of their patron saint at the end of winter season.

Valencia’s star attraction is a futuristic, entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex that is divided into six top of the line offerings in scientific, cultural and musical facilities. It has a science museum, a planetarium, an IMAX cinema, a laserium for laser shows, an aquarium, an opera and the arts museum. Also of note is a covered plaza called L’Agora in which famous concerts and sporting events (like the Valencia Open 500, Freestyle Burn Spanish Cup in 2010 and the Christmas Special Program) are held.
