Stuttgart is the state capital of Baden-Wurttemberg in Germany. Mercedes Benz Museum
Established in 1936, the Mercedes-Benz Museum is the most visited museum in Stuttgart. It showcases the glorious history and evolution of this automobile powerhouse right since the first days of automobile engineering. A chronological order of 160 Mercedes-Benz cars starting from the Silver Arrow (famous racing cars of 1934-39) is the top draw here.
Schlossplatz
Schlossplatz is the largest square in Stuttgart Mitte. It is home to the 18th century city palace known as Neus Schloss (New Palace) and hosts open-air concerts, children fairs, and Christmas market. Of special note here is a 19th century Jubilee Column to mark 25 years of King William I's rule, a 19th century cast-iron bandstand, an array of 144 two metre-high sculptures and a fountain.
Wilhelma Zoological and Botanical Garden
First opened in 1919 and named after a former king, Wilhelma is a zoological-botanical garden in Stuttgart. It is Germany’s second most popular zoo and is home to about 11500 animals across 1200 species and nearly 6000 plants. This iconic zoo is situated in a magnificent 19th century Moorish palace.
